Tucker has come a long way

This is my beautiful boy Tucker. I adopted him from Shenton Park Dog Refuge July 2013. After some obedience training and separation anxiety management, Tucker has come very far and I am so proud of him. He struggled at first to the change in his environment. He had little trust in me, especially if I would come home to him when I headed out. He was a timid boy and very anxious.

Wow over a year later, with lots of love, building of trust and training, this little man has come far. He listens to all commands,  loves to be by my side - especislly when I'm cooking in the kitchen where he sits and observes me carefully, he has an absolute blast on walks (Tucker's behavior around other dogs while on a lead still needs some more work), and when playful he brings me his favourite toy (esp. his tiny fluffy cat toy) to play tug of war with. He loves his duck treats, and is on his best behaviour to get one treat.

Unfortunately circumstances led me to move house in March 2014. Tucky struggled with a whole new set of change and his behaviour deteriorated. But after a lot of patience, training,  and love shown on both sides, we have now settled in our new place. Tucker takes care of me too, he grooms me every now and then. He loves people and thrives in company (after coming out of his shell).

I absolutely love Tucker, unconditional love that grows stronger everyday. I never imagined I could feel so much love for this man (or for any animal).

Thank you to all the lovely people who looked after and cared for Tucker while  in your care. Thank you for helping me find my legend and companion in life.

As a thank you gift, I wanted to give you an update on Tucker since adopting him a year ago from Shenton Park. He also deserves recognition for how far he has come and for being a brave man :) Keep up the fabulous work that you do!
