I was Tyson, but now I am Alfie and I am much happier for it.

Mary took me to the Royal Show from the Shelter last year to find me a home, but we found each other instead. I am so happy here, that I no longer find it necessary to be destructive, not like that naughty Tyson was, apparently!

We have had Alfie now for 4 months and he delights us with his affection, goofy playing style and eagerness to please. Our only concerns with him was his reaction to other dogs. He was over enthusiastic to meet other dogs and over protective when he did meet them.

It has taken several months of understanding, patience and re-conditioning, but he is now more relaxed and has a number of dog friends to play with. In fact now he is becoming so relaxed that he is more likely to sniff the trees than sniff the other dogs!

It is a pleasure to have Alfie in our home and he is a huge part of our lives.

Thank you to all the people who make this amazing Dog Shelter the success that it is.
