Vernon's trip home

Posted by Nerilie Watson on 14 February 2014 | 5 Comments

Vernon survived his trip down south, we stopped every hour and gave him a walk around. We got home after dark, he settled nicely on a blanket next to my sofa.

I took him around the property this morning and he enjoyed the space. Had breakfast on the patio and he is adjusting to the other animals. He has had a run round the the oak field peeing on lots of trees to Dave disdain as they are his precious trees. Dave is very impressed that Vernon walks around sniffing the ground. I have phoned the local dog trainer which I found through the local vet waiting for her reply.

Love from Vernon and thanks for your help.

  • This seems to be a perfect Vernon family. So pleased for him, and for Jo.

  • Aw so glad Vernon found an excellent home! He's one of my favorites on this site, one of the one's I would've loved to have if I only had my own place! He looks very happy, congratulations :)

  • You guys are such awesome parents! =)
Vernon is so lucky to have parents who understand him and want to work with him, and invest in him.
Thank you for stopping every hour so that he knows that car rides need not be scary.
Please hug his soft fur body for me... =)
