What's a few shoes between friends

We got Pandora (Pany) from the Shenton Park Dog Refuge in September 2012.

Since then she has settled in really well and became a great addition to the family  . She loves going out and about in the car, chasing tennis balls and sleeping on the couch. She spends most of her days running around our block hanging out with the chickens and sometimes just watching the world go by.

We have had our problems with school shoes, teddy bears, cushions & even homework falling foul to her chewing but what's a few shoes between friends.

  • I read an article today about dogs chewing & a possible cure.
They were saying that a young dog has the same 'teething' problems children do, hence he tends to chew. Solution suggested was to wet a tea towel, wring it well, roll it up & place in freezer.
When he starts chewing on things, give him the towel to chew on, it will soothe his mouth.
Haven't tried myself but it makes sense.

  • Love the humour. We presented our old sneakers (laces removed) to our dogs so that they chewed theirs and left ours alone. It worked well.

  • Pandora looks lovely. I know what you mean. Wookie rearranged our house to suit him. but we love them all.

  • Pany is a beautiful looking girl. How lucky for her the day you walked into the refuge. I'm sure she will grow out of the chewing stage!!

  • and every child should be able to say 'the dog ate my homework' at least once in their life! great news to hear and she looks very happy.
