Willow's beautiful personality shines through

Well it has been almost six weeks since we brought the gorgeous Willow home to be part of our family and what a wonderful six weeks it has been. Willow has brought so much love, energy and fun into our home and now we dont know what we would do without her!

At first, when we arrived home she was a little nervous but after a few days she settled in completely. She loves going to work with her Dad every day and has her own bed in Dad's office under the desk near his feet. But at home in the evenings Willow loves to cuddle up to Mum on the bean bag.

At first we thought that she was a bit of a sook, until after a few weeks of settling in, one day someone knocked at the door unexpectedly and she let out a loud deep scary bark! We were so shocked and realised at that point that she felt at home and was determined to look after us and her new home. We were so pleased! Willow has been introduced to our friends and family and is loved by them all, especially the kids!

Willow has started attending Doggy Obedience classes and although she was a little distracted at first, she was the best in class last week and made her dad very proud indeed! Willow enjoys chewing on her chew toys, bones and sticks in the garden and loves to lay around in the sun.

Willow has such a gorgeous personality and sweet nature and we are so happy that we adopted her into our family. Willow is adored by everyone that she meets but no more than her new mum and dad...thats for sure!

Thanks to all of the staff at Shenton Park Dogs Refuge Home for caring for Willow before she came to live with us and for your help and advice during adoption.

Love from, Chris, Jo & Willow

  • What a beautiful home and family you have given Willow. To see her cuddled up, warm and cozy, on the couch with you, is just wonderful. Thank you.

  • What a lovely story , she is a gorgeous dog, I adopted a stray dog myself, Millie and she is now quite the lady of the house. Well done to anyone who adopts a dog xx

  • Isn't she gorgeous, love her tail.
Boxers will do anything for food, and if you want to run, they will run. If you want to veg out so will they.
