Wookie searches for China

Just a quick note to let you know how I'm going since my adoption.

Wookie

My new mum and Lou are really nice to me even though they are old and weren't quite ready for a dog like me who is full of beans! I have been enrolled in dog training in Joondalup every Sunday morning and get to meet lots of dogs. Lou is learning fast and might graduate soon. Mum watches and practices with me during the week.

They took me to a new Vet, Ros, and she stuck a needle in my back side - she thought giving me liver treats would fix it, but let me know you....they didn't!

I've even managed to redecorate a bit a my new house. I was certain mum didn't want though silly blue vertical curtains in the family room anyway. I've also gotten rid of two tea towels, mum's pink dressing gown and eaten my bed twice. The garden is also looking really now that I've made a few changes. I didn't ilke some of the plants they had in pots - so I pulled them out. I'm still trying to find China though - they said it was somewhere in the garden?! I also found all the old bones their last dog buried for me.

My favourite thing is to go walking in the morning with mum and Lou in the afternoon. They take me in the car and we went to Mandurah for a day and I played with a little white poodle. He wasn't white when I finished with him!!!!

Mum plays soccer with me and she gets very tired and we both have a rest after. I love having a sleep under her desk while she works on the computer.

Bye for now....got lots to do.

Wookie x

  • well wookie, what can one say? your testing to see if your mum & dad are worthy of having you, rather than the opposite! my advise sunshine, hang back on the curtains etc. my new mum bought me a new feather quilt to share with my goldie retriever but got too excited and tore a hole and man, feathers where everywhere! i thought it was play time but no was the wrong thing to do. remember wookie, be gentle and think before you act.

  • Wookie, you are so lucky, you are loved heaps. I hope you start behaving for your new mum and dad now, no more looking for China.
Thank you, adoptive parents for being such special people!
