Get To Know Jeter
Jeter has been with his brother up until now and he is the least confident of the two. He has been on foster so we know he can be wary of new things and new experiences but he is getting better daily. The foster carer reported that he heard children next door and was curious. I feel he could go to children 10 plus pending meet but needs a quiet household as i feel too many children and people at this time could be too much for him. He needs a home with owners who understand to let him come out of his shell gradually and not take him to too busy an area straight away. He needs to continue his socialisation starting with friends and family’s calm easy going dogs whilst owners educate themselves on his body language so that they know when to step in. He is a lovely boy who loves his cuddles and loves being around you. He would benefit going home with another dog and could actually struggle if he doesn’t. If he goes alone he may need someone at home more often than not but going with another appropriate dog he could handle part time. Quiet household. Could go with kids 10 plus.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone. Please review our Adoption Process or complete an Adoption Questionnaire prior to your visit.
