Get To Know Nancy

Nancy is a very loving girl who just wants to be around you. She is wary of new surroundings and sounds which could be why she wants to so be close. She seems to come around to new experiences quickly, even more so when there is another dog around. She could settle quicker with another dog in the household as long as it is a good match and could possibly handle full time workers in this scenario. If she goes as a single dog she will need part time workers and need owners who understand to let her go at her own pace. She is looking for a quiet environment where she can settle and build her confidence over time which another dog would help with. In a few months she may happily go to the beach but for now needs to just get used to her new surroundings. She is dog social and happier when other dogs are around. Nice polite calm dogs for her initially as she can be a little scared.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone. Please review our Adoption Process or complete an Adoption Questionnaire prior to your visit.
