Get To Know Mikey
Do you have experience rehabilitating a fearful dog? Or do you have the time and patience to help a dog rebuild his trust and confidence in humans? Look no further than Mikey. This little boy is only young but has experienced a rough past which has left him incredibly fearful and nervous of people and his surroundings. He is looking for owners who don’t force him into scary, uncomfortable situations. He needs to be given space and time to settle into his new home with lots of love and patience. Living with another dog could be an option pending a successful meet. No full time workers or children. He is an incredibly cute boy who just needs his faith in the world restored. If you think you can help Mikey, come down to the shelter to speak to our staff.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone. Please review our Adoption Process or complete an Adoption Questionnaire prior to your visit.
