Get To Know Ollie
Ollie has found her self back in our care and is looking for a very special home. She is a sweet sensitive girl who can take some time to trust humans due to the poor experiences she had during puppyhood. Because of this she needs experienced and confident owners who she can depend on to keep her safe. Once she becomes comfortable in new environments and is given the time and space she needs to settle, she opens and becomes incredibly affectionate. Her previous family described her as a lapdog who loves cuddles with her people, but also has lots of energy and loves to play and zoom around the yard. Ollie will require approximately an hour of exercise a day, this should be introduced slowly in quiet on-leash and low traffic areas only. A quiet child free home with a large yard will be essential so she has a safe secure area to play and run around stress free. Ollie should be the only pet in the home. Full time workers may be okay, she will need a decent settle in period to feel comfortable in her new environment first, before being left for any extended length of time. If her new owners do work full time they will need to be willing to invest time every day into her ongoing training and confidence building. It is strongly recommended that her new owners seek out guidance from fear free pet professionals to assist them with this moving forward. This girl is so deserving of a loving forever home and we are sure that in the right environment she will thrive!
