Get To Know Daisy
Daisy is a sweet pup who hasn’t had the best start to life. She arrived at the refuge with her siblings who are now all ready to find their new home. She is the more confident dog of all her littermates but she still has a long way to go. Experienced owners who have had GSD or similar breeds, with dog savvy older children and/or potentially another dog could be suitable home for her. Someone who is home more often than not would be best, as she is still young and needs lots of time and attention. Unfortunately, there is a potential that Daisy and her siblings have been interbred. This could mean that they may have ongoing health problems such as hip dysplasia, djd etc. Her new owners must be prepared and willing to take on the risk of health issues developing as she gets older. They must also commit to ongoing training and socialisation as she is still a young pup. Daisy is a lovely girl who will make a great companion for the right family.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone. Please review our Adoption Process or complete an Adoption Questionnaire prior to your visit.
