Jarrah is a young puppy who needs a commitment to his ongoing dog socialisation with friendly dogs of all ages and sizes. He must be given lots of new opportunities to meet & play with other friendly dogs whilst in controlled situation. Mandatory puppy classes will assist with this, friends / family who have friendly dogs he can befriend will be fantastic as well as new social situations.
Children 13+ only recommended for this puppy, parents need to be aware that this puppy is demanding for time and require lots of training. Behaviours such as jumping / mouthing / growling must be dealt with calmly and using a positive guidance approach NEVER punishment.
Jarrah will need an experienced or at least knowledgeable dog owner who can make a commitment to his Training and socialisation. Appropriate dogs and people need to be selected ongoing whilst he is socially maturing over next 2-3 years building off rewarding experiences.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
