Get To Know Hooch
Hooch is our beautiful boy who can be very fearful.
He had a rough start in life and was not handled very nicely. As a result Hooch is now very scared of most things and does not have any trust in humans.
Hooch will need a very calm home with minimal foot-traffic with a committed owner that will be home with him most of the day. For now we only recommended a household with teenagers over the age of 16 or no children. Hooch will need a lot of guidance on the way to gain some confidence and to learn how to trust humans. Hooch has a beautiful nature and he loves other dogs. He would benefit from going home to a big, confident but calm female dog to show him the ropes. 1.5 hours of exercise and training every day once he has gained his perfect weight will be beneficial for him to learn that the world isn’t such a scary place after all.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone. Please review our Adoption Process or complete an Adoption Questionnaire prior to your visit.
