Get To Know Spike
Spike is our young boy who can not wait to go to his forever home and find his owner/family that will treat him how he deserves and teach him all he needs to know.
Spike will need about 1 hour of exercise every day and a lot of mental enrichment to keep his mind busy too.
He will still have to learn some things like “how not to jump” but he already knows how to sit.
Spike will cower as soon as he hears a loud noise or someone makes any unpredictable movements, therefor he will need an owner or family that will be calm and handle him gently at all times. Younger kids are not recommended, only older kids from the age of 13.
Spike loves other dogs and will have to be socialised regularly.
Spike wants to learn and be close to his human more than anything, with a confident, experienced dog owner this handsome boy will become the best of boys in no-time.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone. Please review our Adoption Process or complete an Adoption Questionnaire prior to your visit.
