Get To Know Chief
Chief is our big boy looking for his forever home.
Chief loves to cuddle and would like to get his belly rubbed all day every day.
He still neds to learn some manners, if someone has experienced with bigger dog breeds, that would be ideal.
Chief has shown good behaviour towards other dogs here at the refuge, his new owners should keep up with his socialisation in a neutral place and in controlled manner.
Chief is quiet jumpy and can lack some impulse control therefore we recommend only teenagers, 16+.
He will need at least 1.5 hours of exercise each day and mental enrichment to keep his mind occupied.
We would love for this cuddle bear to find his forever home.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone. Please review our Adoption Process or complete an Adoption Questionnaire prior to your visit.
