Get To Know Sardine
Sardine is our sweet boy looking for his forever home.
He was found wandering with his sibling and we don’t know how long they have been lost for together. Sardine is super sweet and affectionate, he loves to be very close to his human and to get all the love and attention.
As he will likely become very big he will be in need of about 1 hour of exercise each day increasing to 1.5 hours.
Sardine likes other dogs but can be a little unsure at first, we would recommend his new owners to keep up with his socialisation and introduce him to new dog friend in a neutral and controlled manner on a regular basis.
For now we say children above the age of 10 if the parents are able to manage them both and understand the need of training and the amount of effort that has to be considered to have a child and a growing dog.
If you would like to take this awesome boy home, please go see reception.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone. Please review our Adoption Process or complete an Adoption Questionnaire prior to your visit.
