Diesel is waiting for his very own people to love and a quiet place to live where he can decompress and adjust to new situations. Diesel can be quite fearful but with a calm and gentle approach he shows his sweet and trusting nature. Diesel has been on FOSTER, building his confidence and showing his capacity to learn quickly with experienced handlers who have done training before he will increase his confidence. Diesel has been staying home alone, suitable for fulltime workers after the initial settling in period. He’s chilled, uses the doggy door doesn’t destroy things and smells like flowers because he loves his baths. Diesel enjoys his outings, parks, lakes, bush walks demonstrating his great leash and recall skills. He loves running along the seashore then relaxing in the dunes watching people and dogs go by. Diesel shows positive interactions with polite female dogs and could share a home with suitable female canine companion. If you are looking for a loyal friend with a quirky personality and character, come to the Refuge and spend time with Diesel boy, he is the one!

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone. Please review our Adoption Process or complete an Adoption Questionnaire prior to your visit.
