Get To Know Lolly
Lolly is a very gentle natured happy girl. During her stay in quarantine she lost some of her confidence and as she is still young, will need someone home more often than not in the initial stages to help her adjust to her new life/environment.
She should be given opportunities to socialise with other suitable friendly dogs to continue to nurture her friendly nature.
It is possible in the future that she will cope with full time workers after a settling in period.
She will require a minimum of 1 hour of exercise/mental stimulation daily. Mental stimulation is equally important as physical. Training games with new her family is a must and food toys/puzzles should be part of her daily routines, especially when left alone.
Lolly has a very gentle sweet nature and could live with younger children who will be able to understand when she needs space and when it is appropriate to engage in gentle play with her. They must not rush in and overwhelm her and should be encouraged to help in training her using positive food based rewards.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone. Please review our Adoption Process or complete an Adoption Questionnaire prior to your visit.
