Get To Know Leo
Leo is looking for his forever home.
He found himself at the pound and the previous owner failed to reclaim him and, consequently, we have no history on this boy.
Leo can be sweet and affectionate, although he is a bit stressed in a kennel environment. We recommend a home with older children, 13+ pending meet.
Leo should be the only dog in the household as he can be very intense and many dogs won’t put up with that. If it is done in an appropriate manner, Leo is capable of making female dog friends.
Leo will need at least 1 hour of exercise each day and a lot of mental enrichment when in the home.
His ability to be left alone should be assessed during his settling in period.
If you would like to meet Leo, please talk to reception.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone. Please review our Adoption Process or complete an Adoption Questionnaire prior to your visit.
