Anchor is our very sweet boy who is looking for his forever home.
He is very affectionate but has not been socialised at all and most things scare him such as traffic, bins, loud noises, slamming doors etc.
Anchor is a very sensitive boy who is looking for an experienced dog owner who can commit to his ongoing need for socialisation and help him build his confidence. Anchor responds really well to verbal and physical praise.
It is recommended that his new owners have a lot of time to commit to him and make sure he is always approached very gently. Progress should be made on his terms and a lot of patience is required. Anchor is still very young and will need up to 1.5 hours of exercise each day once he has completely settled into the new home environment. An adult only household or 16+ is recommended due to his need for a calm environment with minimal stimuli.
This sweet boy deserves all the love and care in the wold, if you are able to give this sweet boy a home, please talk to reception.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
