Get To Know Chica
Chess and Chica found themselves at the refuge and are now looking for their forever home.
This gorgeous pair is very affectionate and they love human company.
They would be suited for a home with children over the age of 13, pending meet. Chess can initially be a little fearful about new situations and might need some more encouragement, a calmer home is therefor recommended. Both dogs did well in their dog test and should sometimes be socialised after their settle-in period. They will need up to 1 hour of exercise each day and mental enrichment when at home.
Chess did not cope really well without Chica and they are recommended to go home together.
If you would like to meet this sweet pair, please talk to reception.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone. Please review our Adoption Process or complete an Adoption Questionnaire prior to your visit.
