Get To Know Lunar
Lunar is friendly and full of energy. She loves to run around in the yard and explore everything. Lunar has a thing or two to learn as she very excitable and sometimes forgets to keep her paws on the floor when greeting people. She will need some training and at least 1 but preferably 1.5 hours of exercise once she has both lost some kilo’s.
We recommend someone to be home with them during her settle in period, if they get the right amount of exercise, mental enrichment and training she could potentially be left alone for full-time hours. This will have to be assessed during Lunar’s settle-in period.
Children over the age of 13, pending meet if they are dog savvy and experienced owners are recommended.
Come to the refuge today to meet Lunar.nd Doof.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone. Please review our Adoption Process or complete an Adoption Questionnaire prior to your visit.
