Get To Know Doof
Doof has a friendly and happy nature, loves to explore the yard by himself and does not run around too much, he does have his moments where he can become jumpy and mouthy and should appropriately be settled down with calming measures. Doof will need some training and at least 1 but preferably 1.5 hours of exercise once he has lost some kilo’s.
We recommend someone to be home with him during his settle in period, if Doof gets the right amount of exercise, mental enrichment and training he could potentially be left alone for full-time hours. This will have to be assessed during hhis settle-in period.
Children over the age of 13, pending meet if they are dog savvy and experienced owners are recommended.
Come to the refuge today to meet Doof.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone. Please review our Adoption Process or complete an Adoption Questionnaire prior to your visit.
