Get To Know Cardi
Cardi is looking for his forever family.
When he first arrived he was terrified of the lead and a little shy but once he was out in a yard he came out of his shell quickly and was very excited to say hello to everybody.
Cardi has a very friendly nature but lacks some socialisation and can be a little scared of traffic. He needs owners who are confident and able to reassure him in situations that make him feel unsure. We recommend children over the age of 13, pending meet as a household with a lot of younger children will likely be too busy for him.
Someone who can be home with him most of the day during his settling-in period is recommended to assess his house-manners and ability to be left alone. He might be ok to cope with full-time hours after that once he has settled and he will be getting at least 1 hour of exercise each day and plenty of mental enrichment. He loves other dogs and is very appropriate in his approach. Come to the refuge today to meet Cardi.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone. Please review our Adoption Process or complete an Adoption Questionnaire prior to your visit.
