Get To Know Moon
Moon came to us from a local pound and is not so happy in kennel environment. She can be a little vocal when she does not know you and potentially growl/bark kennel-front. She will need experienced dog owners who have a lot of time to spend on her. A gentle and calm approach is required at all times.
We recommend a household with only adults or teens over the age of 16, pending meet just due to her fearful nature.
Moon was very happy when meting another dog and came out of her shell around the other dog. She should be given plenty of opportunities to socialise with other dogs if she is the only dog in the home. Someone who can be home most of the day is recommended such as someone who works from home and she will need at least 1 hour of exercise each day.
If you would like to meet moon, please come to the refuge today.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone. Please review our Adoption Process or complete an Adoption Questionnaire prior to your visit.
