Macee came to us from a local pound and is now trying to find a forever home.
Her initial nature is fearful and she will require gentle and patient, experienced dog owners. Macee used to live with another dog and they were both chasing cats, she absolutely can not go to a home with cats.
Macee should not be left unattended in the yard and an owner that can spend a lot of the day with her is recommended such as someone who has the ability to work from home during her settling-in period.
She might take some time to warm up to new people but once she does she is an absolute sweetheart. Macee perked up when she saw another dog and should be socialised regularly.
Her exercise neds are up to 1.5 hours each day and plenty of training and mental enrichment to keep her mind occupied.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
