Get To Know Smeagle
Smeagle is looking for his forever home.
He is sweet and affectionate but also very stressed at the moment.
Smeagle does not jump up on you and can potentially go to a home with children over the age of 13, pending meet.
He can be a little vocal when approached and might retrieve while barking, he comes around with a gentle approach and some reassurance.
Smeagle requires somewhat experienced dog owners who are confident and can guide him through situations that make him feel unsure.
Someone who can be home with him most of the day is recommended such as someone who can work from home so his house manners can be assessed and the boundaries around the house can be established.
It is recommended to not leave him alone in a yard and his ability to be left alone has to be assessed during settle-in period.
Come to the refuge today and meet Smeagle.

There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone. Please review our Adoption Process or complete an Adoption Questionnaire prior to your visit.
