Doug is our new boy on the block and he is looking for his forever home.
He came all the way from Geraldton to try his luck in the city.
Doug is looking for a quiet home with experienced dog owners who are gentle and will have plenty of time to commit to him.
Doug needs a lot of training and gentle guidance.
He has not yet learned to fully trust people and only positive, reward based methods can be used to teach this boy everything. Doug will need up to 1.5 hours of regular exercise, mental enrichment, training and socialisation.
Doug won’t be suited to go to a home with children, an adult only household is recommended with minimal foot-traffic/visitors.
Someone who has plenty of time to be with his will be best such as someone who has the ability to work from home.
Doug deserves a home with loving, gentle owners who will show him all he love he deserves.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
