Mazie is a happy, goofy, lovable dog. She may be out of her puppy years but don’t let that fool you, she’s got energy to burn and is looking for a home with a strong experienced owners who will give her lots of rewarding adventures and at least 1 hr – 1.5 hrs of exercise daily. This combined with mental enrichment through training games, sniffy walks, Kongs and licky mats should help to keep her out of mischief, as well as teaching her how to switch off and be calm. A relatively quiet home environment is recommended for Mazie as she decompresses from kennel stress, and a medium to large yard where she can zoom around and play. In the beginning Mazie will need her humans to be home with her more often than not during the settle in period so they have time to commit to her training and helping her feel safe and comfortable. She may be able to share her home with kids 13+.

There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
