Sweet Sensitive Freckles came to us from a hording situation, this means he has not had much experience with the world outside his previous home. He will need experienced and gentle owners who can support and guide him as he matures to ensure he builds confidence with new environments and things. Because he feels most confident around other dogs it is essential he goes home with a suitably matched doggy friend to learn from. Freckles will need at least 1 hr of exercise per day, this should be broken up into 20-30 min chunks, as he is still young. Owners who are home more often than not are needed to to settle him in and invest time into his training, socialisation and confidence building. He needs a quieter home but may be able to go home with kids 10+, provided the home has minimal comings and goings. Freckles will make the most loving and loyal companion in the right home!

There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
