Get To Know Bull
This BIG sweet sensitive boy is already a staff favourite but has been very fearful since he arrived in our care from a local pound. Due to his upbringing – likely having limited exposure to the outside world – Bull is lacking in confidence overall. He is frightened by new people, loud noises and fast movements. He has a curious nature and is quite food motivated (he will need to be fed in slow feeders). In a home with people who can give him time and space to gain confidence, he should learn to adjust. In time he will need to get active and have lots of rewarding experiences to keep him happy and mentally stimulated. He will need around 1 – 1.5 Hr of exercise plus mental enrichment per day. This sensitive soul needs a quite calm household and people who can be home most of the time, at least in the beginning to settle him in. Because of this we are looking for an adult only home for Bull, he would make the perfect fur baby and is just waiting for a family he can love and trust!

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone. Please review our Adoption Process or complete an Adoption Questionnaire prior to your visit.
