This sweet, sensitive girl has been very fearful since she arrived in our care. She has clearly not had the best start to life and will need people who can help her to build confidence and provide her with the love and care she deserves. Due to her upbringing in rural areas with limited exposure to the outside world, Lucky C is lacking in confidence overall and is frightened by new people, loud noises and fast movements. She has a curious nature and is quite food motivated. In a home with people who can give her time and space to gain confidence, she should learn to adjust.
Lucky will need to be rehomed with another suitable canine friend, a calm friendly and well mannered male dog would be the best match.
In the beginning she will need her family to go slow and be considerate of her feelings. In time her personality will show and she should flourish into a smart and loving pooch!

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
