Get To Know Logan
This sensitive boy is has been very fearful and stressed since he arrived in our care from a local pound. He has clearly not had the best start to life and will need experienced dog owners who can help him to build confidence and provide him with the love and care he deserves. In time he will need to get active and have lots of rewarding experiences to keep him happy and mentally stimulated. He will need around 1 – 1.5 hours of exercise per day (Broken up into smaller chunks of yard play & training games whilst he gets used to his new home). Logan is a smart boy and loves his food, he will likely responded well to training. He should only experience force free positive reinforcement based training. Any punishment/aversive training will destroy this sensitive boys confidence. He will benefit from an adult only home with a medium – large yard to feel safe and secure in, and people who can be home with him and have plenty of time to invest into this boys ongoing training and confidence building. In time his personality will show and Logan should flourish into a smart and loving pooch!

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone. Please review our Adoption Process or complete an Adoption Questionnaire prior to your visit.
