Wilma is a sweet young Akita who is eager to find her new home.
She will need humans who can give her lots of guidance, provide appropriate training and continue to adequately socialise her with other Dog friends as she matures.
This girl lacks some basic obedience knowledge but is SUPER food motivated and eager to please.
She is affectionate and friendly but seems to have lacked the appropriate guidance previously.
Teens may be suitable and it is best she goes to people with previous Dog experience or at least knowledgeable and capable handlers willing to put some work in.
Wilma has all the potential to be a loving, devoted family member.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
