Dexter is a sweet sensitive puppy boy who found his way to us as his former owner was no longer able to care for him. Dexter will need at least 1.5hr of exercise and mental stimulation daily, broken up into smaller chunks as he matures. Dexter has not been exposed to much thus far in this life, and is feeling a bit unsure after so much change he will need a quite first week or more to get comfortable and settle in/bond with his family before being taken out into the world. He will need his new owners be experienced, patient and gentle. Dexter is very smart and can’t wait to go to weekly training classes to learn the basics and maybe more? If you’re looking for a sweet affectionate boy who just needs a bit of love and understanding Dexter may be just the pooch for you!

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
