Spike is a very sweet boy who loves to play and hang out with his people.
Spike will need guidance and understanding from her new family to build up his confidence. He would love to go home with a doggy friend or have regular play dates to help him with this too.
A playful pup, he should be given lots of rewarding opportunities to play, exercise and stimulate his mind. About 1-1.5hr of exercise and mental stimulation each day would be ideal, broken up into smaller chunks as he matures.
This lovely boy could go home with kids 10+ and needs his family home with him more often than not in the beginning as he learns to adjust to his new life.

There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
