Our tiny pup Melon is looking for a forever home! Melon is a sweet and affectionate Bichon Frisé mix puppy. He and his whole family were saved by the Dogs’ Refuge Home after they contracted parvovirus in their previous home. These puppies are confident and friendly and could go home with children or a home with other pets. Melon is a very young and energetic pup and is best suited to an active home. Young puppies require a lot of attention and company during their developmental period, so are not suited to full time workers unless there is a care plan in place with support from family and friends.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
