Barney has had a rough start but is now learning to enjoy love and care at the refuge. He may be a little unsure at first, but once he feels comfortable, he’s playful and full of potential. Barney is looking for a calm, adult-only home with experienced owners who can help build his confidence through positive training. He loves squeaky toys and has the makings of a fun, playful companion. Barney would likely do well with a confident dog and needs gentle exercise as he builds strength. He’s ready to be a loyal and loving companion to the right family who can help him thrive and see the really good boy he was born to be.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
