He’s looking for a calm, child-free home where he can build trust and grow his confidence. Once he feels comfortable, Rivergum quickly warms up and becomes affectionate. Curious and eager to explore, we expect him to develop a playful, mischievous side as he gains confidence. This smart boy is keen to learn and would thrive in positive, force-free training classes. He needs daily exercise, mental stimulation, and a patient family who can show him how fun toys can be. Rivergum could likely live with a confident, respectful dog or a dog-savvy teen (16+). He’s going to be a fantastic companion for the right family who can help this shy boy reach his full potential!

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
