William is a sweet energetic little pup who is looking for his forever home, he is a confident guy who has been in foster around large breed dogs with no problem. He would love owners who can give him appropriate exercise (not too much as he is still growing), mental enrichment, and include him in the family’s daily activities. William will need to attend puppy training classes as he is still young. He may be suited to living with young children as long as parents are understanding of the time and commitment a young puppy will need. kids 8+ pending a meet, puppies can be a bit nippy/mouthy. This must be responded to in a positive reinforcement manner. Poor William and his siblings arrived in a neglected state and he had a severely injured and infected eye that will need to be removed. This procedure is arranged and the cost will be covered by the Dogs’ Refuge Home.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
