This pup will need a fun loving family environment where they can be adequately socialised and integrated to their new lifestyle through rewarding experiences. Part / flexible work hours are required so puppy behaviours and needs can be managed accordingly over the first few months. They may cope with full time workers when they are older and has learned to cope alone for short periods initially. Lots of toys and enrichment to ensure they are kept occupied and preventing problem behaviours from boredom over time will establish a good routine. They will need to be taken to Puppy classes ASAP so they can begin to socialise, learn manners and gain new rewarding experiences in a controlled, clean environment. Follow up basic obedience classes are highly recommended too so pup can continue to learn as they grow. Puppy play, training sessions and games at home should make up to 1 – 1.5hrs of exercise daily broken down into 15-20 minute sessions as they are growing. It is important that new owners give them plenty of mental enrichment even from a young age; this will contribute positively on physical & mental wellbeing and help to prevent problem behaviours. Crate training is highly recommended for all puppies as it will assist greatly with toilet training, settling into the new home, travelling in vehicles, amongst other benefits.
