Meet Bear! This sweet, goofy young guy is full of potential and charm. Bear has a playful, slightly aloof nature-he likes to suss things out before diving in, but once he’s comfortable, he’s affectionate, silly, and loves to engage with his people. He’s a big fan of tug toys, tasty treats, and exploring the world on walks. Bear is well-mannered on lead most of the time but can get strong when excited, so he’s best suited to confident handlers and older kids who can match his energy and play style.
Bear would love a calm home with space to stretch his legs and a family committed to ongoing positive training. He may be able to live with a well-matched dog buddy after slow introductions, but he prefers a more relaxed social scene. If you’re looking for a fun, food-motivated dog with loads of love to give, Bear could be your perfect match!

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
