Meet Xander – a sweet, gentle young boy with a heart of gold. Xander has come a long way in building his confidence, and with the right family, he’ll continue to grow into a loving, playful, and loyal companion.
He’s looking for a home with a confident doggy sibling who can help show him the ropes and keep him company. Xander enjoys gentle play, sniffy walks, and quiet cuddles once he feels safe. He’s not ready for busy off-lead parks just yet, but he loves spending time with calm dog friends in a relaxed setting.
He could live with dog-savvy kids aged 8+ who understand that he can be a bit shy at times and needs space when feeling overwhelmed. With patience, love, and positive training, Xander will make a wonderful addition to any family.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone. Please review our Adoption Process or complete an Adoption Questionnaire prior to your visit.
