Meet Wookie!
Wookie is a young pup with a heart full of love and curiosity – and a lot still to learn! Initially shy and unsure, Wookie is steadily coming out of his shell thanks to the support of his foster carer and foster bro, Mac. He’s quickly learning that the world isn’t so scary and is gaining confidence every day. Wookie is cuddly, affectionate, and loves nothing more than curling up close for a nap. He’s a playful, zoomie-loving boy who adores the company of other dogs and would benefit from having a polite and patient doggy sibling to help guide him.
He’s improving in leaps and bounds with his toilet training, already knows how to sit and wait for his food, and is highly food-motivated. Wookie is also learning to respond to his name – what a smart boy! He is very vocal and currently finds it hard being left alone, so he’ll need a home where his people are around most of the time, especially while he’s still adjusting.
Wookie’s ideal family will be understanding, gentle, and ready to help him grow into the confident, loving dog he’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a snuggly, spirited pup to share your life with, Wookie might be your perfect match!

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
