Get To Know Carrie
Carrie is shy but affectionate young girl who came to us through a local pound. She has previously lived with other dogs and it would be beneficial for her to do so again. Carrie shows to be more confident around another dog. Carrie will need owners with a gentle approach and understand that she will take time to come out of her shell. Owners should not push Carrie or force any interactions. Owners should encourage ongoing positive interactions with dogs and people.
Carrie will need up to 1.5 hrs of exercise and mental enrichment each day. She would benefit from sniffy walks in bush lands or street walks in quiet times. Carrie is a smart girl who would benefit from training, training games, hoopers, sniffer school and more.
Carrie could go home with kids 13+ only, pending a meet. Kids must respect Carrie’s space and not force interactions.

There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
