Barney’s shape and size might surprise you! This long, lovely boy is very keen to meet his new family. Barney is a soft and sensitive pooch and likes a good snuggle. Barney has done well meeting dog friends here and could live with a well matched dog and older, dog savvy kids 8yrs+ in his next home who can be calm and gentle. Barney is keen to get out and explore his surrounds, some care to be taken on his joints to not over-do it with his exercise. He would love lots of company too, if his family had shorter work hours that would help him a lot! Living with another nice dog may also help him adjust quicker 🙂

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
