Jakey is a lovely shy guy. He is gradually warming up here but would love to be in a situation that can put him at ease. A quieter calm home environment with no kids would be best. Jakey has made dog friends here, and may like to get out and about to meet up with nice and calm doggies in time. Jakey will need people around often in the beginning settling in stages to assist with his feelings of comfort and safety. Jakey will become a wonderful and sweet companion in his next family.

Our website updates the availability of our dogs in real time. There is a chance that while you are travelling to the Home to meet a particular dog, he or she may be involved in the adoption process or already adopted. You can phone ahead to enquire about a dog you are interested in between the hours of 11am and 4pm but we cannot place dogs on hold over the phone.
