I came in last weekend and adopted Summer. Her name is now Billie. She has taken to her new name very well, I use it with her a lot and she is adjusting to it well. The name Summer wasn’t working for me and with her being a bit of a tom boy, I thought Billie suited her. If any of you watch Offspring, there is a character on there called Billie and I think they are both a bit crazy so it seemed to suit. I just love her to pieces.
We adopted Smudge, GSP on 22 December 2000 from Shenton Park. She was full of energy and had already been homed twice and returned back to the refuge, because of her boundless energy.
After I had owned Harley (formerly Roger) a few weeks, I wrote to let you know how well he has settled in.
Our family adopted Skyla in 2012. Since then, we have loved every day and we think she loves it here too.
We’ve had our lovely Zeb and Zara at home now for just a little over a month, and they have settled in beautifully. The picture shows them enjoying a bone in the front garden yesterday afternoon.
The Dogs' Refuge Home is delighted to announce that we have been chosen by professional services firm Deloitte as its Charity Partner in Perth for the 2015 financial year.
This week, it's a year since we adopted Zoe.
It’s been a week since Roxy came home with us, and I thought I’d let you know we all couldn’t be happier – Roxy included, I think.
