Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Dogs’ Refuge Home. We take great pride in our team of volunteers being the corner stone of the Refuge; they make it all possible!
How to become a volunteer with us
- Browse our Volunteer Role Descriptions.
- Complete an Expression of Interest form. (Located at the end of this page.)
- Once your application has been reviewed, you will receive a response from our Volunteer Coordinator.
- Induction and training provided for your selected role.

Other ways you can volunteer your time include:
- Fostering – please visit our Foster Carer page for information about how to provide a temporary home to one of our dogs.
- Fundraising – yes, money makes the world go round and our work here at Dogs’ Refuge Home is made possible by the generosity of our community. You can help recommend us as the beneficiary of your next school or work fundraiser. Please visit our Fundraising page to learn more.
- Advocating – spreading the important messages of ‘adopt don’t shop’ as well as desexing so that no more accidental litters end up in rescues is a huge help!
