Puppies

Please also check our other listings as we do have many young dogs under 18 months listed among the other dogs available.

To apply for a puppy you must visit the Dogs' Refuge Home and complete an adoption questionnaire in person. You will then meet with a re-homing staff member to discuss adoption. When the puppies are ready to be adopted, you will be called back in to choose your puppy from the litter with applicants given the choice of pup based on the date/ time of their initial application.

Puppies are not onsite and are bought in only on the adoption day for viewing. Completing a questionnaire will not guarantee you a pup as we will look to make the best matches from the applications we receive. LIkewise you may decide to withdraw your application at any time or decide not to take the puppy upon meeting - our goal is to make sure everyone is comfortable as puppies are a big committment!

Puppies (aged up to 6 months) are $550 and this includes mandatory sterlisation, their first vaccination, micro-chip and other vet works.

We recommend that you contact your local vet and book in for puppy socialisation classes - normally available up to 4 months of age. This is vital first training opporutnities for puppies and owners. Also speak to your vet about other puppy and dog training available in your area. We recommend only the use of positive, reward-based training methods to ensure you develop a happy, healthy, confident adult dog.

Our training staff can also provide you with information about classes and trainers.

PLEASE WATCH FACEBOOK FOR TIMES WHEN PUPPIES ARE AVAILABLE. WE WILL ALWAYS CONTACT PEOPLE WHO HAVE A COMPLETED ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE BEFORE A LITTER IS ADVERTISED.
